What are the dimensions of your 30 gallon tank, there's like 3 different ones. But yes I should last you 5 to 6 months, unless you have a tegu that grows extremely fast like some others have on here.
Depending on how fast the tegu grows anywhere from 5 months to a year

Hi VaranusDragon74. Welcome to our Tegu forum family. I would say yes and no. Is it a 30 gallon long ? The reason why I say yes and no is because if the Tegu hatchling will hibernate then I would say yes. They usually hibernate for a few months. During those months they don't grow. He/she should be fine until the hibernation season starts and he/she will hibernate then. But if the hatchling eats alot and doesn't go into hibernation in the fall then I say no. He/she will outgrow it very fast with the right care.
Rich is not how much you have, or where you are going, or what you are.Rich is who you have beside you.

Actually, I was referring to the 36x18x20, I think.. the one thats a short 40 breeder. .
I think I might go with a front opening exo-terra X-Large Low (same dimensions, front opening)..
