Default Need a vet in Orlando,fl!

So my tegus tail has been having some issues shedding..
I bumped the humidity in his enclosure been soaking him for longer periods of time and passing my hand to help get off what I can.. Bought vitamin e oil and also putting that on his tail.. His whole body is fine just having issues with his tail..

Today I saw about two small cracks and seeing just a bit of pink flesh.

Since I'm new to florida hoping someone can give me a good vet in my area.

I'm in orlando by lake picket..

My tegu had an issue after some shed had an issue coming off. I called the vet and was told to use Regular Polysporine. Try that for a few days. Have a good day !

My exotics vet is Dr. Diaz at Lake Howell Animal Hospital in Maitland. He is the only vet that actually carries the exotic specialty. Dr. Hess in Winter Park is also very experienced and works with a lot of wildlife rehabilitation.

Let us know how it goes. Did you schedule with Dr. Diaz? Are you a member of CFHS? I don't know if he gives discounts, but you can ask. .

I think he is $65 for an office visit and then whatever meds if needed. He is very friendly and understands working on a budget. I have an appt this Friday for my ferret to get her regular Lupron injection and my Sulcata has some shell issues.
