    Default 20yr Old Custom Tank

Figured i'd share a few pictures of a tank i made 20+ years ago.

It was originally built for a beard dragon back in highschool, and now a temporary cage for Tango while i build him a new one.

Sorry in advance for the cell phone camera pictures:

Had to make the grooves for the screen, and then do some screening

Used Joints and Glue, every where, except hidden under the screen lids, for the cover to the glass panel so i could replace the glass if/when needed.

Currently i have a piece of corrugated plastic that lines the bottom of the tank for the mulch to sit on, since i'm nervous about the water proof sealant i put on so long ago.

Nice enclosure man, that's some quality craftsmanship to look that good and function well after 20+ years!

Ugh.. figures, i show off a little with my fancy old cage and Tango puts me in place.

Last night Tango decided to show me how big he has gotten and pulled the screen out of the door on the top of the cage.

He didn't get hurt, but not risking him pulling down the screen from the door with the heat lamp on it.

Will be posting in this other thread as i build a temp cage/pen for him while working on his longer term cage/forever home .

Lol. How are you keeping him inside the enclosure now ? Our Leonidas did this, too. If you want to you can duct tape a shower curtain rod behind the enclosure. Then clamp the light to the rod ( like I did it with the enclosure I used to use ).

Thanks for the tip. on the side without the light i just put a heavy board. On the side with the light i did hang it up above the cage similar to the curtain rod idea.
