    Default Tango's emergency temp cage

Tango out grew his previous temp cage, and his new cage won't be done for a couple of weeks, so i'm building him a quick new temporary cage/pen to hold him over.

Went for quick, cheap and easy on this one, since I only have a few days before i'm out of down for a while, and can't leave him in his current setup. They definitely grow up quick!

    Supplies:
    2x : 4x8 sheets of plywood,
1x : can of polycrylic sealer
12x : angle brackets (only need 10, but come in bags of four
2x : hinges for the front
2x : hook and eye locks to secure the front.

I picked up the plywood from Lowes because they allow you to make a couple cuts, while our local homedepot only allows us to make one cut per piece of lumber. So I had them cut the 4x8s into 4 2x6 sheets and 4 2x2 sheets.

I did the sealant this evening:

Picture of my 09 STI since i figured @subiedude09 might enjoy that.

Will post the more progress pics as i finish it up. Hoping to have it done either tomorrow evening or monday evening.

Default Got it done in time!

Sorry for the delay on these, been busy packing and getting ready for our trip.

Any tegu owners or breeders, reptile shops in/around Portland, OR?

Trash bag under the cage incase any water leaks out the gaps. all wood is sealed, but didn't have time to caulk/seal all the seams.

Need another bag of mulch and i should be good to go.

Racks where the ball pythons and sandboas live.

My reptile room is normally 60%+ humidity with a mistking setup on a timer to keep his mulch and cage even more humid.

REMINDER/DISCLAIMER: An open air cage is not a good option unless your reptile room/cage environment has the humidity requirements needed for a tegu.
