    Default hibernation?

Hello all. Ive had my new Arg. red tegu (Nova) for about a month. She is a 2013 hatchling from snakes at sunset. she or he is doing very well, eating, growing a ton, we have our bonding time every night when i get off work after she eats. My question is do all tegus hibernate. Or is there a chance that she will not. Thanks

Hi desz0000. No, not all Tegus hibernate. Some hibernate for months, some just slow down on eating and basking and some don't hibernate or slow down at all.

Your very welcome . I found some old posts from our member tupinambis ( he is awesome when it comes to Tegus ) about the hibernation. Hope this helps.
