I'm sorry for not replying to your question sooner. I know allot of people will not agree with me on this one. But I would just get him out of the enclosure and put him on your chest when you lay down. Put a blanket over him and just hold him. If he seems calm you can try to gently rub his neck ( allot of them like it ). If he is flicking his tongue around to much be careful so he will not bite you. Our black throat monitor was a bit wild and what I just recommended to you helped calm him down allot. It also worked on our six tegus.

It's okay. But okay, I did that one day and he seemed okay and seemed like he liked it but wasn't sure about when I was getting him about because he fought with me a lot and kept running away from me. (I slowly go to pick him up from underneath and am really gentle) I don't want to stress him out too much.

I understand. I'm sure with a lot of patience he will come around.

Yeah, patience is the key to everything. He still isn't eating too much though which bugs me.

Maybe he isn't eating much right now because he might slow down for the hibernation season. One of ours is already slowing down in eating much and coming out.

Would he be doing that if he is 2-3 months old?

Yes. Here is a video of our Venus when we first got her. She was about one month old. She just ate one pinky and a few bites of some other foods. Then stopped eating and withing a week or two she went into hibernation until April ( we got her September 1st 09 ). I'm just posting the video so you can see how small she was.
