Hi everyone. I know we have some information on a Tegus prolapse and hemipenes. But I just found this information about infectious cloacitis and thought I post this on here, too. I'm not a vet but if your Tegu doesn't have any hemipenes sticking out ( photo in the first link ) or doesn't have a prolapse ( photo in the second link ) than he/she could have a infectious cloacitis ( just a swollen vent. Photos in the third link ). I still recommend bringing your Tegu to a vet. When you click on the links below you have to wait a second or two and the photo will come up.
