    Default enclosure lineing need help

ok as im looking at all the paint in homedepot. I cant find anything that wouldn't be toxic to any reptile. so it got me thinking why not use a lineing for the floor and all like Natural Stone Tile/Linoleum/Plexiglass and silicone the edges

I don't know witch is cheaper but they would protect him and his enclosure keeping the heat and Humidity inside and not in the wood.

ive seen enclosures with tile for the walls and floor and I like the look of it and I don't think even when he get bigger he could pull any of it off "i hope"

let me know what you think of this and if you seen it or have used it your self XD

The floor should have a substrate (peat moss, etc.) on it. Tile on its own would be too hard a surface for your tegu to walk around in all the time. It would be terribly hard on his joints. If you were going to use substrate anyway, I would just think that tile would be an expensive option since you won't really see it. Maybe on the walls, and do the floors with something like plywood, etc. and make sure it is waterproof so you can dampen the substrate.

    Good luck.

im not talking about only using this. im talking about using Natural Stone Tile/Linoleum/Plexiglass as a liner for waterproofing cuz I cant find any safe to use paint for my tegus enclosure. I am going to use substrate.

The only thing about using Stone or Tile is that it is very heavy. The glue on the bottom of the Linoleum is toxic. It also can tear when you move things around like his water bin ( if it's a big one ). Here is some info for you to check if you like.
