    I used those in another cage he was in and he had no problems. I've pulled on it and it won't be pulled down but he prob will try climbing on it when he gets bigger. I'll get a new light system when he gets bigger. Thanks about that tip.

    what i did with mine was to use the clips like these to hold the cable up securely and it has worked great. They sell them at walmart or home depot.

    Oh, OK. I'm glad you sealed it. I was worried about the cables, too. But I thought you put a zip tie around the cable and the screw.

    I did put a zip tie. Its won't budge. I already put a lot of force on it and it didn't come down so its good for now.
