    Default Finally starting

I'm finally starting Argo's cage. It's going to be 8x4x4. I got all the materials for it tonight. I probably won't start till this weekend though. It's going to take up 1/3 of my living room which is in the basement but I deff need to make it now because he is about 2 feet long. He is currently in a 4x2x2 I think.

Good luck with it. Just if you have the time for it, it would be great if you could take some photos when you are going to build it. I can't wait to see how it looks like when it's done.

I've been busy lately. My brother started some of it already. Not exactly what I wanted but oh well. I'll try and put some pics up today.

It's OK. I understand. Nice enclosure. Argo is a very good looking Tegu. What kind of paint did you use ? If you don't mind me asking. Thank you for the update.

Your welcome. I'm sorry I meant to say paint and not pain ( I changed it ). Did you painted the inside of the enclosure and sealed it so the wood will not rot from the humidity ? This is why I asked about the paint.

I was wandering what you meant. I used 3 coats of drylock and then sealed it.

Just a quick note the cables for the light, with them hanging like they are, your gu will more than likely rip them down or will use them to try to climb up. you might want to secure them to the ceiling with no room for the gu to grab hold of it. Looks great, keep up the good work, and thanks for the pictures.
