would I need a nighttime heating light for when I turn off the basking light?
if I did need one when is it a good time to use one during the year?
I live in las vegas. in the summer it doesn't get to cold here and night. but in the winter it gets near 40 or lower sometimes so I know id need one then. but what about the rest of the year.
ive never used night time heat lamps for my snakes or my green iguana they hated them. the light I used was a black ceramic bulb they made no light they just didn't like the heat at night they would all ways move to the cold side of the tank and the temp was all ways the same as on there basking side. my green iguana who free roamed my room would just sleep in his bed at night "it had a zoo med heating mat". if he got cold or he try to sleep on me.
I read in care sheet/guldes say they do need one and they don't need one and I see in some vidoes of owners having one like 40% that have one and 60% that don't. but I don't know the temp ranges where they live so im a bit in the dark.
thanks for your posts and help XD
