Here is what I am envisioning for the rocks. I plan on surrounding the whole structure with them. I also drilled the water jet bar. This pvc pipe will be under the false bottom against the right wall and will ensure that water is properly circulated and returns to the drain. I will have the jet bar and the waterfall pipe controlled by ball valves so that I can control the flow rates.

Thanks!!!^ I have added a few more rocks to the waterfall and checked for placement. I need 5-6 more rocks then coat in ultralight concrete. I plan on blending portland, EPS beads and Acrylic fortifier to keep the weight down. I wish other materials had the cost efficiency and strength of concrete without the weight. That tree feels like 100lbs.

This pic shows how the waterfall fits on top of the basin.

You are doing such a awesome job with his enclosure. He/she will be very happy. I just hope that he/she will not clog up the pump. Tegus can be very messy in their water bin/pond. I can't wait to see how everything looks like when it's done. Good luck with cleaning everything up.

Update: covered the waterfall with concrete. Has 1" PVC built in. Pool pump would work fine for keeping the water moving, but the cost of operation is too high. I plan on using a smaller external aquarium like a panworld 100 with a filter like this http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...fm?pcatid=3662 Hoping someone will have a tegu for me soon plan on adopting from tegu terra

Hooked up the waterfall to a garden hose. I was worried that the water would simply cling to the lips and run along the rocks, but It actually jutted a few inches off each ledge and looks decent. Figure out a filtering system and a rock panel for the background and the enclosure is ready to go!

WoW! And I thought I went nuts when it came to enclosure building and design. I love the tree stump and storm feature it reminds me of the rainforest exhibit at the national zoo.I can't wait to see the finished product. Thanks for sharing.

Epoxied the waterfall and placed it. iPhone for scale. once moss grows it should look pretty natural.
