Default Articles/Info on other Teiid Species

I think there should some stuff on other Teiid species like a forum or possibly some articles, everyone likes Tegus but not everyone has the room for them, such species as Ameivas, true dwarf tegus & monitor tegus (callopistes), whiptails, racerunners and kentropyx should be included just my 2 cents

This community is mostly directed at Tupinambis species, but if you can get enough interest in the other Teiids in the 'Reptile' forum located under 'Other Pets & Discussion' I would be more then happy to make a sub-forum for 'Teiids'.

How big does the giant amevia get? They didnt give much info, but I like the black. Know if you can get them in the pet trade at all?

that particular subspecies of the green ameiva is said to max out at 24 inches and max svl rumored to be 7-8", I've talked to someone who had caught some in FL (where they are naturalized) and have been trying to get them to catch me 2.3 of them (since they arent native anyways) for a fututre breeding project, but as for the retail pet trade the closest i've seen is the normal green ameivas which still reach about 20" and an svl of 6" for a big male

I'm still waiting for someone to get Callopistes maculatus and tell me about them. I've never seen one in person, only books and they seem very interesting.
