I'll bet my library doesn't carry any of these but thanks for the list...there is not much above those thin "pet" tegu books out there in plain site....this list really helps me to find some good reading material on the net. Have you tried zoo books?

Unfortunately, I'd be willing to bet body parts that you would find none of those articles at a public library. Your best bet would be a science/medicine/veterinary library at a university/college. However, a good library (possibly public) should have an interlibrary loan service, wherein if the library itself doesn't have the article you are looking for, then they contact a library that does and ask them to send a photocopy of what you want. Ask at the information desk of your local library.
Some of the new articles may be online, however most science journals require you to have a subscription (which is very pricey) to view their materials.
Another alternative is to go to www.pubmed.com, they have literature searches (unfortunately primarily directed towards medical applications) that often contain direct links to the articles (or just their abstracts) for free.
Last thing that comes to my mind is to try searching online for the authors. Many professors are getting into the habit of making their recent papers available in pdf format for free from their own websites.
