    Default Meet Dobbie

Here's Dobbie, Paraguayan Black & White Tegu, aged approx 2 yrs, 9 months and i've had him since last August

Not overly tame yet, as his previous owners were extremely reluctant to handle him, and consequently, he got to big for them.

Hahaha, he certainly is a Dobbie.

The viv is 5 x 2 x 2.5 at the moment. Moving house soon, so I think i'm going to set up an enclosure in the garage for him.

He's never in it anyway, he's always wandering around the spare room at my house. He's asleep under a chest of drawers as we speak.

I hope to be able to get my red an inch more tamer and let him roam around the house for some hours a day.
But first concentrating on moving, then we'll try to get all the places he could hide to a minimum and get all the wires out of the way.
I wonder what my cat would think if she ever met him wandering around.
But to prevent accidents I think I better have her outside when its Dino play time :P

My cat thought it would be a good idea to have a wander round in the viv once, bit of a heart stopping moment. He also found hius way into my Gecko viv once.

My Staffies also seem to get on well with Dobbie, although, I wouldn't fancy chancing them together unsupervised.

Could result in a nasty accident 8O

My Rocha absolutely LOVES warm spots...she even lays down on the central heating. And sometimes she is trying to get into the enclosure of Karel.
He gave her a masife fright once when she tried by coming up to her from under a plant thats in his enclosure
