    Default Two

Photos of new two Japanese Ratsnakes next to a window with natural sun beam without flash!!
Yesterday, a friend of mine Mr Souryu, a Elaphe climacophora collector sent me these wonderful gifts.
Firstly, I will introduce this full-blown female from Hokkaido where is the northern part of Japan.
She was impregnated when she was captured this summer and laid 8eggs at Mr Souryu's house.

Look at this ample figure. The body colouration is showing as similar as typical Climacs from Hokkaido,
got deep olive green with sky blue between the each indivual scales on its belly.

The head is massive and some greenish light blue showing around the side face.
She got a thick bridge of her nose.

Comparing with the other pictures, the shape of the right eye looks something odd.
Mr.Souryu guess that she fought with a rat in the wild
and got some battle injury at the skin ofthe eyelid and the top of her head.

Room light is showing this snake alot 'bluer' than she really is.
The first 4photos are more a true representation of there colour.
But in some way, it shows her body patern more cleary.

Though the camera doesn't alter there true colours besides of a window with room light.
She is extremly calm and behaves like a model.

...and this one, a baby Elaphe climacophora which was born from other parents
at the Souryu's house in 2009!
This little guys is the one in 6bros&sis in same parents and Mr.Souryu sent me the most beautiful
one in 6. Thank you very much. I am so happy with that!

Though the body is typical, the head's showing some "blue-tinged" gradaion already.
    What do you think?
This little guy gives a daring and radiate healthy energy expression to the camera.
This blueish head induces interest and I am so curious how it'll change the colour in the future.
