Questions for you breeders:
Are your breeders kept as trios or pairs?
If you have a trio will the male breed with both females?
Or is he done after breeding with one of the females?

We generally keep ours in groups of one male to as many females as possible (usually 2-3). The one male is able to breed with all the females.

They can be kept together. Bert breeds lots of 7 males to 5 females. He uses a higher number of males to females doe to his thoughs being that the fertility rate is higher in the eggs.
