    Default Budding Herpetologist

    My daughter and I found this Black Rat Snake and Green Snake just off our front porch. While taking the Rat Snake to the backyard to release it, we ran into another one that was a little bigger (the one in the picture is a little over 5 feet).

    Found a green snake like that the other day, sadly hit by a car, along with all her eggs :(

    nice find. they look pretty laid back i found a ring neck snake the other day i never seen one bigger than 5 in always finding babies. and last yr got a work snake when i was digging for worms at this pond. Im in VA BTY
