Default my new blue ~ "Baby Girl"

Well, after much bugging and hassling the owner of a local store to sell me his store tegu, he finally broke down and agreed to see her to me.
She is about 2-1/2 to 3 yrs old and a bit over weight, but I will fix that with a healthier diet from now on.

Well, here are a couple of shots off my camera phone, I will post much better ones tomorrow.

    Ed

before anyone asks me, those are canned snails on the plate. Its going to be tough getting her to take food off a plate or bowl. She has only known live food and no fruit or veggies. But I will be up to the task for getting her used to it and f/t feeders.

    Thanks for looking,
    Ed

I'm not a big fan of he blue ( I know they are very popular right now) but she is cool looking. Good for you for "rescuing" her. Keep us posted as to the progress.

Tell me more about canned snails???

I got her from a shop called C R reptiles in Murieta, CA , He has a blue red X there too for sale, but its has issues and I don't have the room nor the cash rite now for another. But as soon as I do I will pick her up too.

She is dug down in her substrate rite now. She has never had any other than that crud of alphalfa pellets :(

She has 6" of cypress mulch and some good humidity now going. So she is a much happier camper.
