    i hate stupid snow. so i now have 6 bricks of coconut fiber and 2 smaller/big bags of cypress mulch in the big cage and i start them in it tommorow

    your too funny :lol: . I have not ever heard of coconut fiber but always open to new stuff. what is it like ? does it hold the humidity ?? and did you place Isis and Gavin together ??? if you did, how is it going with them ????

    you know that eco earth stuff? its compressed bricks. thats coconut fiber. its great u have to soak it in water to have it expand and it holds water great. i did put them in the same cage and they are doing great. they like their new home. ill have some pics up soon

    ohhh, so this sounds good it makes humidity ? how long before you have to soak the brick again ?

    once u soak the brick it loosens up to a bedding so id say once. haha sorry its really good holds lots of water. and i have it all spread out under the cypress mulch so they can dig into softer "dirt"

    It holds moisture really well, I use it with my tarantulas and I can maintain 75% humidity very easily. I let mine dry down a bit and then resoak it instead of constantly having it wet.
