    I wonder what happen,

    1) The left Tegu kill the right Tegu.
    2) The right Tegu was already dead when the other arrive.
    3) The right Tegu is sleeping, strangely on his back...

    I don't know if Tegus (in nature) are attacking each other even if they have the same size. :

    you raise very good questions, Ben. I'll admit I looked a few times at this and the only thing I come up with is ....they both look about the same size. I don't think the tegu on the right wants to be on his back. so the tegu on the left must have put the other tegu on his/her back fighting/mating ??? unless the right tegu is already dead. the right tegu looks pretty relaxed I mean none of his legs are up and trying to get away and he is now food. and I would think if in the wild and they were really hungry they probably would. their first instinct is to fill their bellies.

    the other one can also be going in to a croc death roll they do that.

    Yes they do croc roll!

    As for the original scientific names....

    That's why tarantula people go by scientific names only. Grammastola rosea can be a Chilean Rose, Rose Hair, Chilean Rose Hair, Pink Rose Hair...you get the idea!
