I have been going in home depot and lowes to get my cypress mulch for a long time.

3 or 4 more months ago they stopped carrying it and told me they were shipping it all down to the flooded areas.

    thanks justin

I've heard of that Cypress mulch issue before and I do feel a pang of guilt when I buy it.

I'm not a big fan of global warming or climate change, or whatever the current name for it is. I DO believe that deforestation is a much bigger issue than car exhaust and carbon emissions when it comes to weather pattern shifts.

I can't find any Cypress Mulch in NJ anyway. I checked Home Depots, Lowes, even several garden centers didn't carry it.
What didn't you like about the eucalyptus mulch?
Has anyone had any experience with Hemlock mulch?
I finally found a place that has it. I've called around 6 different stores asking for Cypress, Eucalyptus, Hemlock, and Orchid bark.
