LLL is expensive as compared to others out there. I'm in the office and don't have where I got mine from handy, but I can post the info later if nobody does it first. I picked the cheapest place after quite a bit of research. I picked up a Mix.

I keep mine between 95-110 degrees. The hotter it gets the faster they breed. I don't worry about humidity as the scrap food I add creates enough. Whatever I'm doing seems to be working.

I did take a while for the colony to blossom, I started it last Dec. and was using them in March. I feed him 40-60 a week and don't seem to be running out.

At one point I split the colony into 2, 10 gallon aquariums. Each tank was a bustling little group. I regoined them about a month ago. IMO they do better in the smaller tanks.

No worries. I really don't worry about the humidity. Like I wrote before, if you put in veggies and fruit for them they will produce humidity. It's really easy quite frankly, give it a shot.

yea, start with 10-20, if they take off in a month or two, get a bunch more.

that was my plan, but then my tegu broke into the tank and ate allmost all the older breeders, so i had to just go all out.

    You're welcome

Sorry you've moved. My wife teaches in National City.

It usually take a day or two once the order goes out. With temps so high make sure the package can be delivered where someone is around to collect it. I have live food delivered at work, I don't tell my staff what it is and all's well.
