    Breeding rats in a 10gal sounds like tight quarters. Maybe it's because I have pet rats. I realize this thread is yrs old, but perhaps there might be new interest on it.

    I would think so too, however the new facilities I work at, our rat cages are maybe about 7-8 gallons max. Admittedly, our regulations limit us at a maximum of 2 rats per cage, but it isn't much room.

    When I had my pet snakes a couple years back i started breeding rats to save money. Easy but disgusting...... very disgusting. Never again.

    Nikellh. I don't blame you. This is why I rather bulk order frozen rodents from Rodentpro.com. They last longer, they don't stink, I don't have to clean them or feed them .
