I can't get enough of him. It is very nice to see somebody who takes care of their pet so nice.

    Go Arnie!

How did you accurately sex your White's? I have two that the same gender, but I'm sure which. I used to think they called, but now I think it was my Fantasy frog. I haven't seen nuptial pads...I don't think. I thought perhaps nuptial pads would be black and raised instead of just fleshy and raised, like our native tree frogs.

Hello laurarfl.......as for Arnie... He croaks like every other time he is misted. Not to mention his vocal sac has some dark shading on it. I am still not 100% sure about Chester. I am thinking male.

I can tell you that males have more granular vocal sacs that have a brownish tint to them. Females have smooth, white vocal sacs...So, lookign at your whites. Is it a granular vocal sac woth some brown shading? If so, its probably male..

Oooohhh....I see that looking at the pics of Arnie. I think I have two females. They definitely don't croak when misted, but "bark bark bark" when handled during cage cleaning and showering (only if handled and showered simultaneously). They travel, so I am particular about keeping them clean and moist.

They are in their hidey spots now, but I seem to recall that they have white throats like Chester's.

I really need to post a pic.

Thanks once again! I'm much better at lizards than frogs. General frog care is OK, but specifics are kinda shaky.
