    Default Lactrodectus bishopi

The red widow. I'm expecting two females and two males tomorrow morning. I'm excited, as I have never worked with this species of widow. Does anyone have any experience with these amazing animals?

I used to catch black widows and keep them under my bed when I was in 3rd-5th grade lol. My mom wasn't to happy about that.

No experience on this end either. You sure are bringing interesting animals to the forum though. Thank you.

Red widows are very cool. They come from Florida only, and I believe even then, only one particular county where they are currently found. So they have a very small range. I'm sure people in Florida think we are nuts for wanting to buy them. Very pretty though.
