Default Who supports HR 669 ( who)

:( well the sad news is many animal rights groups and heres a email i got from national wildlife FEd. to support HR 669 the fight is not done yet. I heard from a cricket that florida may still banned reptiles there because of the invaders there. people need to be responsible and not releasing herps etc. when this happens is bad on all of Us.

they are already working on another bill in congress to banned herps

WE MUST STAY TOGETHER NO HR 669

    We're being invaded.

In Florida, former pet pythons have been clashing with gators in a battle for the top of the food chain and giant Gambian rats (also imported as pets) have spread the highly contagious monkeypox virus to pet prairie dogs and people.

But new legislation could prevent even more invaders from harming our native wildlife, wild places and us!

In the coming days, the U.S. House Natural Resources Committee is set to hold a hearing to consider the Non-native Wildlife Invasion Prevention Act-- legistion that would support stronger regulation of non-native wildlife imports.

Ask your representative to co-sponsor the Non-native Wildlife Invasion Prevention Act to help protect our native wildlife.

Each year, millions of live wild animals enter our country. But when some escape, or are released into the wild, they can harm native wildlife and wild places -- including many endangered species. Furthermore, these invaders can cost America more than $100 billion a year and a countless cost to our natural world.

Please encourage your representative to be a champion for the Non-native Wildlife Invasion Prevention Act.

We're already seeing the harm that non-native invaders can cause, so it's important that we prevent even more dangerous invasions -- before they start.

    Thank so much,
