This sound like great tips, I just got a Columbian Tegu on Monday and was concerned about having to take him out to feed him in another box before building trust. If we are to take them out to feed them is there a way to combine the steps? He seems to do ok with me picking him up to place him in the box, though in the box if he starts to flayl then I wait until his is calm to put him back in his cage.

I would like to add that is sad LJLemer saw the bearded dragon as being dumb, I find mine to be quite smart. He's going on 11 years now has been a great pal!

I don't want to be rude. But I recommend reading the beginning of the Thread/Post. This might answer some of your questions .

Hi Andreas. I hope I don't sound harsh. If I do I'm sorry. But what makes you two a expert ? How long have you two had reptiles, what kind, how do you tame them and do you have any videos of how the animals were before and then after ? I'm just asking these questions so the members on here can see that you really can tame them. I understand that you want to make some money but how can you tame the Tegus ( or other animals ) when you live in a different area that other members live in ? If they do live where you are do you have a proper enclosure for their Tegu to be in while in your care to be tamed ? Why are you selling your Tegu but you want to take care of someone else Tegu ( to tame down ) ?
