    Default Introducing Domino

I just got help posting a pic of Domino, my 35" female Argentine b/w. She's about 22 months old. Here she is sitting on top of her hide in her new outdoor cage.

    Red face

I put one in my album, but I can't seem to get anything to post to this site. I had to send the other photo to another member who then sent it back to me in a format I was able to post. I'll keep trying because I have some nice photos of the new cage.

The frame of the cage is wood and metal. The doors and sides are pet screen and the top is a heavy wire mesh so I can set a light on top. It also has a UVB flourescent hanging in the cage. The hide is deep enough for her to crawl into the back to sleep and feel secure. The other end has a raised platform for basking. I can also put a food dish there because it is above the substrate too keep her from ingesting cypress mulch in the event I have to feed her in her cage. For a water dish (not shown in some pix), I used a large size paint roller pan. One of the pix shows her in it. These are great because they have a deep and a shallow part. The cage sits on top of a piece of wood my husband found somewhere, mounted on an old set of table legs. The lattice hanging below the cage has hinges on the front so we can store pool toys under it. Domino loves it.
