I thought he was pretty patient about it and it certainly looks like he enjoyed it ..

I very much enjoyed watching all of your videos.

For living outside, are your tegus always this calm ??

    Hi Angelrose, thanx for watching

no, they didn't. In the start of the tegu-year they will be a little shay. And after the first hot days they're like rockers. The black "Grand-Ma" (9 years old) is specialiced to jump out of the grasses and bite me

Did you always have them in your outdoor enclosure ??

Maybe it's the 'Grand-Ma's way of showing you that she loves you ..

    Hi Angel,

the coldest day in last winter get -22°C.
I make sure that the temperature in the cave is not below 5-7°C.
I have hot water and heating pipes laid and check them over heatsensors.

It's very interresting to find out, that tegus have a method to create itself temperature! A paper from university of british columbia about an experiment, watch a tegu-group with 4 tegus a whole year, finds out the same.
They itself hold their temperature at the lowest of exactly 10°C.

I think, that's why they end their fights at hibernation, to sleep in most big groups.
