    Hey guys, im new to the forum, but thought id introduce my life passion of invertebrates.

    shes molted twice and grown conciderably since this point

    What gorgeous pics! The detail is phenomenal! I just have a Grammastola rosea. Any more and my arachnophobic daughter would probably need therapy....seriously! These pics would likely send her over the edge, lol!

    I tried to keep a young mantis once, but I wasn't successful. I think I had humidity issues.

    Angelrose, we posted at the same time...I slep in today and I'm sitting at the desk with my coffee. I click on the link and it's like, "WOW! That's cool!" It's better than the coffee!

    Hi C_Strike.Welcome to the Tegu forum family.It's nice to have you hear even if you make my stomach turn with all those spider pictures :lol:.The only spider that I would ever hold or have ( if it doesn't have any poison ) is the one in the link below.

    If oyu knew the species, you really wouldnt be saying that xD
    that link is a Haplopelma lividium, one of the stroppiest and bite-ready spexcies of tarantulas:P
    unbelievably fast too, would beat your reaction time, and bite your hand before youv jerked it bk out the tank, lmao

    this guy was stroppy, tho i dont think he ever clued on to humans.. would get a threat pose from him whilst hed sit on my hand... but wouldnt think to move off my hand, lol.. was all for show really:p

    I just hope i can be as benefitial to you guys as you are to me with the Tegus.
    I know a fair amount about tarantulas particularly, but hope to help you with any questions you may have about invertebrates
