I have an Irian Jaya BTS and she is pretty cool! I keep her in a 40 gal breeder but she'd probably enjoy a 4x2ft enclosure a lot more.

    Here's a great website:

Well, she should be full grown. I got her as yearling and that was about 6 months ago. Being a female, she's a bit smaller, and she's not as big as some of the Northerns I've seen.

    blue tongue skinks are great.

    =D

i have a northern, he is getting pretty big.

    around the 18" mark now.

they're definitely a really good lizard to look into if you can't get a tegu, they're pretty similar as far as temperament and whatnot, but yeah, 4x 2 would be great, my guy is in a 40 breeder and is doing fine, he would probably appreciate bigger, but i would have to expand my room....=]

    good luck.
