It's really big. When I order I fill the box and it's something like a 24(or 30)x20x20

I think it's because of the way they pack them to ensure that they stay frozen. They are packed very professionally and are quite solidly frozen upon arrival, even if they sit around in your office all day prompting unhappy looks from your coworkers.
We have two reptiles but it's still hard to fill the box. If you get the larger critters, it fills the box up faster. I really appreciate their online calculator so you can do "if-then" additions to your order to calculate total price (including shipping) and space available. What I do is take that total and divide it by the number of food items and keep selecting things until I get an average price that is significantly lower than what I've ever paid in any pet store. And that doesn't count the time and gas saved by not driving around, and sometimes having to kill our own mice.
I don't know....I have an irrational hatred for mice, they cause me a great deal of anger. I think that is why I can so easily slam them against something to kill them and enjoy feeding the rodents to my pets. Except this golden male mouse I got for breeding, he is going to be my stud, such a fine color I can probably bank off him, he can live.
But ya, pet stores charge a ludicriss amount around here. Even if I orded 100 mice from rodent pro and paid that shipping, I would still save money becuase they are 40 cents per mouse, where *** pet stores at the lowests were 1.50 per mouse.
