A tarantula photographed in the wilds of Costa Rica at night:
I'm testing to see if I can upload an image.
I can't see this image unless I click to open it in a new tab. Can anyone see the image?

Cool spider. I used to be scared of them, but now I understand their purpose in nature and I love them!

I've work with my first tarentula at my reptile farm.
I have to admit that they are calmer, more gentle and docile that I was expected. They are truly great pet that can be lovable. Of course, they aren't the style of animal that you can pet for hours or give affection, but they can easily use human as a giant tree/land to walk.
They don't need a lot of place, are very easy to feed and are generally very docile when you handle them often. I recommended them to any reptile keeper who is looking for a very special and unique animal.
Great looking spider also
