I raised two feral piglets for 9 weeks in an apartment 15 years ago until bringing them to a friend's 13 acres. They are very smart. That looks to be a male, correct?

What are you feeding it in the picture? Do you know its lineage, potbellies can get quite big depending on its lineage.

    Have fun with your pig.

    thanks guys =D

    he's a male.

as far as the lineage, the people who we buy all of our reptiles from (Besides Bobby for Tegus...lol) had him at their booth and my girlfriend fell in love with him. and that was the end of it. lol

they told us he was a Miniature Pot Bellied pig, and should probably double in size.

they said that they have a bunch (he's CB) and they max out around 60 Lbs.

he's eating what i believe to be a treat (some organic vegetable-puree baby food).

he's kind of shy around people right now so we were using something that he loves to get him to recognize that people are a good thing.

other than that, he's super sweet and very smart.

he refuses to eat the commercial pig diet though, so we have him on, high protein, low fat dog food as a staple as well as lots of fresh veggies and fruits to keep him in shape and not let him get obese.

    he's great.

    and cute.

    very cute.

    =D

Beautiful pig! It makes me sick that most people would just slaughter them right away.
