Hi teguman123. I'm sorry to hear about the hole. To be honest with you I have no idea how he could of got it. Is there maybe a metal part sticking out on the screen top where he could of gotten hurt on when he jumped up ? I would keep it clean so he doesn't get a infection. If you want to clean it I would use a clean wash cloth and dap the solution on there so it can't get into his mouth. Please keep us posted. Thank you.

Did the vet knew what it was ? Did he gave you the antibiotics ( to make sure he gets the right dosage ) . I would like to know, too, what is wrong with him. Strange things happen sometimes that can't be explained. I have been there .

i took him to the local reptile store. wnc aquarium and imports they have experts there with 25 years under there belt. I bought some broad spectrum antibiotics and betadine at wallgreens. he said to put the antibiotics in the water and the betadine on his nose three times a day. the hole is still small and not red at all. ive uped the temp to 98 degrees and humidity about 70%. they told me the exact same things you talked about txrepgirl im just gonna hope theat it dosent become more serious.

Thank you for all the infos . Please make keep a eye on his eyes, his walking, his eating habits and his stools. I think if everything stays normal he should be fine. If anything should change I would take him to the vet as soon as you can. Thank you for keeping us posted.
