Cool Awesome website on UV light studies done about specific types of reptiles!

    http://www.uvguide.co.uk/skintests.htm

I was in my microbiology class today learning about dna replication and how excessive light exposure can cause mutations in dna and lead to melanomas. It made me wonder why reptiles can sit all day in the sun and be continually exposed to light and thrive! I figured it was just their thick skin. I found so much more awesome information about all types of specific reptile species (tegus included ) on this website. Check out this website if you wanna find out about some cool research and lemme know what you think! Admiration or criticism

. This is funny. I just posted some infos about this site yesterday. Great minds think alike. Most of the time when someone has some questions about the lighting ( UVA and UVB ) I sent them to this link. Thank you for helping out . I'm going to try to make your post a sticky thread. I just moved your thread into the helpful ( and sticky ) section.
