    In this article you didn'tmention feeding your tegus any insects. Do you always stick to your ground turkey/beef recipe or do you
    ocassionally feed them insects?

    I personally dont feed my adult tegus insects but have tried roaches my tegus dont eat them at all. my hatchlings and young tegus I feed insects too. so Yes I occasionally feed insects. and young tegus I mix grass hoppers and king mealworms both canned by zoo med with turkey burger.
