feeding question

is it ok to fee a tegu lean ground beef? i have heard two sides of this. one person tell me its ok the other tells me its bad for the tegu.. that red meat is bad for them.. any info would be great... thank you

Lean ground beef is fine. Rodents are red meat, too. I hate the additives in ground beef such as antibiotics, but I eat it, too. I still think variety is the key in any diet, so I would still offer whole prey, fish, poultry, eggs, and plant matter along with beef.

thank you so much. just wanted to know...thought bout trying it , he has been only wanting to eat the turkey.. i have a picky eater on my hands
