Hi,
I went to the petstore today and the salesman told me he only feeds his tegu's grasshoppers, worms..
Never mice.. because they get agressive from eating mice, even dead ones.
Is this true ?

Personally, I think he is just ill informed and/or cheap. That sounds like the same logic vegans use for not eating red meat saying it makes you aggressive....which it does to a mild extent, but not so much that it should be taken out of the diet, but instead fed in moderation.
Tell that Guy I said he was an idiot.

No, frozen/thawed mice does not make them aggressive. In fact, it provides with a nice balance of minerals such as calcium and iron, and vitamins from the liver such as A and D. On the other hand, captive kept insects are usually high in phosphorous and low in calcium.

LOL. I'm sorry but I'm not laughing at you but at the sales person. I can see that Tegus get aggresive when you feed them live rodents but not dead ones. We have six Tegus and I feed them all frozen/thawed rodents and I hand feed some of them. If you would take a rodent and wiggle it in front of the Tegu and he jumps up to get it you might get bit. As long as you put the rodent on the floor ( not in the enclosure ) and bring the Tegu to the food you will be OK . Here is a caresheet for you to print out to give it to the sales person. Sounds like he doesn't know what he is doing :( .
